Kristell Guizouarn

Agricultural engineer, Kristell Guizouarn completed her training with a MAS in Agricultural Sciences before pursuing her studies at the French Institute of Petroleum in order to become a Petroleum Products Engineer. She enrolled recently as Head of Biodiesel Development and Quality Research at SAIPOL (Diester Industry), which is a subsidiary of the AVRIL Group and a leader in European production of biodiesel.
She is involved as an expert in fuel, biofuel and sustainability normalization at the French and international levels. In fact, she is the President of the technical group of the European Biodiesel Board (EBB), the European biodiesel producers’ trade union. Between October 2011 and February 2018, Kristell Guizouarn was AVRIL Group’s Head of Sustainable Development. She is currently the Group’s Head of Renewable Energies and European Affairs.
She was also named President of Esterifrance, the French trade union for biodiesel producers, in May 2013. She is also a member of the Administrative Board of the Renewable Energy Trade Union (Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables – SER).
In September 2015, she received the Women of Sustainable Development and the Woman of the Industry awards from L’Usine Nouvelle.
