Stéphanie Kauv obtained an undergrad diploma in Economy from Paris Dauphine University, a Master’s degree of Science and Economics from the University of Edinburgh, and a “Diplôme d’ingénieur des Grandes Écoles” from the National School of Statistics and Information Analysis. She has worked as Economic Analyst for the Paris Hospitals (Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris), for the China State Construction Engineering Corporation in Vietnam and as research analyst in statistics and econometrics for Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (France). She is currently working for the Asia Foundation, an American NGO. From 2015 to 2018, she worked as Special Assistant to the Rector of the American University of Myanmar. She oversaw the Office of Planning and Institutional Research, served as Counsellor to the Rector, and assisted with strategic planning, fundraising, community relations, parent relations and alumni relations. She was also a Lecturer of Economics and Statistics. Before joining the American University of Myanmar, she served as Strategic Planning Analyst in the Office of Institutional Research and Lecturer in the College of Education at the University of Northern Iowa (USA), and as a consultant Strategic Planning Analyst for the American Council of Learned Societies (USA). In 2014, she received the Joe Saupe Award for Best First-Time Presenters from the Mid-America Association for Institutional Research.
