Leyla Mutiu

rsz_img_4231Leyla Mutiu is a Romanian graduate of the International Security Master of Sciences Po Paris and she is currently in charge of communication and management of humanitarian projects in Haiti for the Brazilian NGO Viva Rio. Previously, she worked for the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti as well as for the French NGO ACTED, the Aid Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development in Haiti and Chad.
Her professional experiences at the Romanian Embassy in Madrid in 2012, at the French Institute of International Relations (IFRI) in 2013, as well as at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) in Israel in 2014 have refined his expertise in international politics, security issues and arms control. In 2014, she won the Young Ambassador Award at the Munich Conference on Security with her article on the impact of the declining European defense budget on NATO.
